How To Draw The Punisher Logo
Learn how to sketch and colour in the Punisher logo in three simple steps. Drawing the iconic skull of Marvel's famous crime-fighting vigilante, also known as Frank Castle, is easy to do - just follow the video tutorial and guide below!
What you will need...
- Pencil
- Eraser
- Black marker pen
- Coloured pencils or felt pens
Step 1: Drawing with pencil
-
So, for those of you who are huge comic book fans, you’ll know that the Punisher’s logo is no ordinary skull.
But don’t worry, this is a simple and very straightforward drawing exercise. Just follow the pencil!
The top half of the Punisher’s logo is a semi circle.
Then cut right across this with a straight line.
-
In we go with drawing two small triangles for the holes where the nose would usually be on a person’s face.
Then above those pencil marks, sketch out two wide, jagged shapes for the eye sockets - these are where the eyeballs would sit.
We’re halfway through this drawing exercise already!
-
Here come the gruesome teeth.
Starting with two knuckles under the edges of our skull semi circle, where the cheeks would be on a human face, we can draw lines down to create four teeth.
-
The bottom of these teeth should be the same distance from the middle as the top of the skull.
Then separate this shape from one block into four parts like a long hair comb.
Step 2: Drawing with pen
-
Now for step two, take a back marker or felt tip and draw around the outlines.
Our Punisher skull is white, but the nose and eye holes are black.
So this illustration is almost finished already, great job.
Step 3: Colouring in
-
You may want to add some back shading or a background to this illustration if you think it;s looking quite plain - it’s your choice!
Hey, did you know, The Punisher, whose real name is Frank Castle, is one of Marvel’s most popular cartoon characters and although he is not a superhero like Batman or Superman, he fights crime with just as much determination.
The Punisher is known to chase after criminals and supervillains, but he has also had his fair share of run-ins with the good guys like Spider-Man too!
How is that artwork coming along?
Fantastic job!
